The College of Administration and Economics was established in 2009 in two departments to be the first step to establish the Integrated College of Administration and Economics. The college has ambitious plans to adopt the best modern methods of education, create distinguished research centers, build a real partnership with public and private sector institutions, and establish a relationship of cooperation and knowledge exchange with corresponding colleges in Iraq and other countries. Neighborhood The Deanship of the College focused on the quality of the departments and a sense of the importance of developing the banking and financial sector, whether in the public or private sectors, and keeping pace with the economic transformations taking place in Iraq, the Deanship of the College directed towards the creation of the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences and the Department of Accounting. In the first year of establishment, 168 students were accepted, in the second year (288) students, and in 2010/2011 evening studies were introduced, where 180 students were accepted, and in 2016 the Department of Business Administration was created for the morning and evening studies.
The duration of study in the college is four calendar years, during which the student is prepared theoretically and practically with specialized and supporting study materials throughout the academic stages. Through which we seek to develop the mental and skill capabilities of the student, which would enhance the qualitative aspect of knowledge allocation. A financial, administrative and economic advisory office was established in 2010.
